Stylish dog clothes for little dogs and big ones

I recently added more stylish dog clothes on my website.  They are cute, and go from sizes teacup to Xlarge.  There are a couple of dog dresses that are perfect for the fourth of July and any time you want to show your patriotism.  Please remember to measure your dog each time you order any product for them, because they may have grown a bit, or even lost a little weight.  Also, all dog clothes are not made exactly the same so use the sizing chart whenever you order anything for your four legged best friend.  Just as humans hate to wear clothes that are tight and uncomfortable, dogs are uncomfortable with ill fitting dog clothes

It is great to have stylish dog clothes, but please do not put your dogs in the wrong sized clothes.  They cannot tell us they are uncomfortable, and so we must be extra careful.  Some time ago I wrote about a pet that was almost cut in half by a tight dog harness

.  The owners, put the harness on and left the dog outdoors night and day, and never realized that the dog was growing and needed a larger harness.   I know that all of you who read my blogs, love your pets and would hate to see them uncomfortable.  They have become your family, just like a child.  In fact I love my daughter’s dog so much and love being a grandma to a puppy.  In fact she is lying down right next to me and is sound asleep.  Last night there was a thunderstorm, which Kate, the puppy, hates storms.  I woke up to find the electricity was off and did not find Kate anywhere.  So I found a flashlight, and found her on the floor pacing.  I picked her up and held her under the covers with me.  When she settled down, she stuck her head under the covers and slept through the night.  She is so adorable.

People are paying more attention to their dogs. In fact the dogs are taking the place of children in many families. Some may not have had any children of their own, or they have grown and moved away. Thus, their pets get all their attention. Female dogs are treated as daughters that they can dress them up in designer dog apparel. Dogs look almost like children when they are dressed up in designer dog clothes. My Kate looks like a little girl in her dresses and pretty hairclips. Sometimes I almost forget that she is not human.

There are beautiful designer dog clothes available now that I could not even find when my daughter was little. I used to sew dresses for her so that she would have better outfits than I could find for her. She loved to show off her dresses and when someone asked her where she got the dresses, she would say that her mommy made it for her. I even made dresses for her till she finished high school. She did not want to end up with the same dress as others for her prom. There are those who sew clothes for their dogs, and those who do not sew still want the designer dog clothes for their little ‘girls’.

Dogs do not know anything about designer labels, but they certainly know when they are dressed in designer dog apparel.  When the clothes they are wearing looks good, it makes them happy.  Sunday was my birthday, and my daughter, her husband and their dog, Kate came to visit.  On Sunday, after she was given a nice bath, she was dried and her hair was put up in a purple scrunchie.  Then she was dressed in a pretty blue dress, with pink and lavender pom poms on it.  She was just so cute to watch.  She certainly acted differently, and seemed to enjoy it.

I have noticed that she loves to pose for a picture.  When she is dressed in designer dog apparel she knows that she is getting all the attention.  If you take a camera out, she will pose for it.  In fact she posed for about 12 pictures (hundreds actually, to get the 12) for a calendar that was a birthday gift to me.  It started with April and goes through to March of next year.

Looking at designer dog apparel there are so many pretty dresses, and they look as if they were made of a baby.  But then again, our pet is our baby, and so the designer makes dresses that will enhance their look.  My favorite is a green dress (my favorite color), actually, and emerald green dress, that really is very elegant.

a doggie diner. They cater to both two legged and 4-legged customers. The menu offers separate menus for humans and their canine guests. They offer muffins and other vegetarian delights for the dogs, and the humans enjoy their meal too. This diner offers birthday parties and weddings for their canine customers. There have not been any weddings yet, but the owner has become a minister in order to perform weddings if desired.

The dog’s can have their birthdays celebrated in style, without much fuss. This might be a great time to wear some stylish dog clothes. The dogs and humans are given separate cakes and food is served, they even give them cigars. I am not so sure about that part. The doggie friends that are invited to these birthday parties may enjoy getting all dressed up some stylish dog clothes. They probably spend time primping in front of the mirror like their 2-legged owners do.

It is really interesting how the canine world is mixing with the human world. Dogs seem to be more privileged than other 4-legged friends such as cats. This diner does not cater to cats, and if a dog invites his feline friend to the party, the cat is on her own as far as safety from the other dogs are concerned. The dogs who go to this diner have been well behaved. They do stay on their leashes, but if the dogs decided to give the kitty a run for her money, there would be chaos in an otherwise orderly doggie diner.

Just as we look for the best clothes to wear to a wedding or a banquet, any self respecting dog who is invited to their friends’ wedding needs luxury dog apparel. In August of 2005, Pamela Anderson arranged a wedding between her two pooches, Luca a Chihuahua and Star her golden retriever. This occasion called for some wedding dog tuxedos and luxury dog apparel. It was attended by friends and family, and I would assume that some pooches were on the guest list. Being on that wedding guest list calls for luxury dog apparel. I understand that Sacha Cohen in his role as Borat crashed the wedding by coming in on a boat.

I am invited to my niece’s wedding in July, and there will be a lot of beautiful silk Indian clothes worn at the wedding. In like manner when dogs go to a wedding they will be looking for luxury dog apparel. I read about a young girl being married to a dog, in India. The family had a ceremony and there were relatives at this wedding. I doubt that the dog was dressed in silk luxury dog clothes. This young girl was married to a dog to ward off evil spirits that her family was afraid of. Of course, this marriage did not change the young girl’s life in any way, and she was free to marry when she grew up. Different religions and parts of the world have interesting ceremonies.

Today, I read where an eight year old young girl received a divorce from her 28 year old husband. What a shame that some people would use poverty as an excuse to buy and marry a young girl who had not say in the matter. God created this world where marriages are to be in the same animal kingdom, and not to cross over. However, there are dog breeders who cross breed to produce designer dogs and other animals such as the zonkey (mix of zebra and donkey).

There is a website where dog owners married their two dogs and even sent them to a hotel for the honeymoon. This hotel was strictly for dog honeymooners, and charged according to the hour. I am sure this pricey wedding had a lot of their friends there in luxury dog apparel.

A Brazilian vet says that dogs should get face lifts and other plastic surgery to keep them looking good. I am sure there is a demand for such services for people who can afford to do so. Not much can be done to hide a face problem, but otherwise there are stylish dog clothes that can enhance the looks of your pet. There are some dogs that love to dress up and pose for the camera. I was looking at some pictures where a pet had on stylish dog clothes and had a glamor shots picture taken. The Yorkie looked really nice in those stylish dog clothes. Many dogs look really nice in stylish dog clothes and thus cover up any problems on the body. Dressing dogs have become a reality. Dogs wear pretty dresses with matching bows and clips and when groomed well they look like a little girl.

In the movie Legally Blonde the main character always carried her dog in a designer dog bag and her clothes always matched with the designer dog apparel the dog was wearing. It stands to reason that people love their dogs so much that they want them to have the same things as they do. It has been said that the dogs and their owners eventually look alike. Well dressed ladies would like to dress their dogs in designer dog apparel and usually the carry the dog as an accessory to their outfit. I understand that Paris Hilton has 17 dogs. I am sure she can afford to have designer dog apparel for each of her 17 dogs.

This company that makes the designer dog apparel, has a designer that makes the dress and puts it on their dog, and when it is approved by the dog, they have it manufactured. So personal attention goes into the details of the designer dog clothes that they make. The clothes are beautiful, elegant and well worth the price. I have seen dog clothes that do not even cover the whole dog. It looks as if they are wearing a top without the pants, and yet when you see a dog in pants, it looks awkward. However, pants and shorts and bikinis are sold for dogs, but I prefer the designer dog apparel. It looks nice and the dogs are well dressed and you can take them anywhere and still be in style.

Easter Dog Dresses

Tomorrow is Good Friday and Sunday is Easter, however, two Little Rock parks are hosting easter egg hunts on Saturday. The folks at the Angel’s Care Animal Rescue, which is a volunteer organization will be hosting their third ever, ‘Dog-Gone Easter Egg Hunt.” Dogs and their owners are invited to come and sniff and find the 2000 treat-filled Easter eggs. Owners are encouraged to dress their dogs in their Easter finest to strut and wiggle their tails in the Easter Bonnet Parade. I know there will be many owners there with designer dog clothes, and stylish dog clothes. Which designer dog apparel will win the big prize? I bet it will be the one in the most stylish dog clothes possible. I wish I could see all these cute dogs and their owners with their choice of designer dog apparel. No matter what they choose, I know each one will be the best dressed pooch to their owners. There is no love like puppy love.
